FAQ

What is your core technology?

We have developed several technologies. The key core is a breakthrough single frame coding method for structured light imaging.
Our code allows single frame 3D decoding, while maintaining high accuracy.
This capability eliminates the need for the environment to remain static during capturing.
Other technologies have to do with the registration algorithms, calibration methods and optical designs.

Do you have other products beside F5?

F5 is our latest generation solution comprised of 3 complementary products:

1) MVC Imager - end unit for data capture
2) MVP Software - application that transfer the 2D coded video to 3D models
3) Analytic tool - measurement and change detection application

Other than that we are constantly developing new hardware and software building blocks that will become the enablers of new products that we will be designing in the future, based on customers' requirements.

Are you selling the product directly or through distributors?
Currently both. We are very active in direct sales for new markets, mainly for evaluation.
Further sales for mass deployments will preferably be by 3rd party distributors that are experts in sales and support in their market.
For specific information about particular distribution channels in your area, or for opportunities to become a distributor of our products, please contact us directly.
Is it possible to use F5 in different lighting conditions?

F5 can work in complete dark as well as daylight.
Performance under direct sunlight (not in shadows) will be lower, and will require shooting from a shorter range.

Is it possible to capture reflective materials with F5?

Absolutely yes!
It is possible to effortlessly capture very shiny objects, such as stainless-steel metal parts, by quickly shooting around them.

While specular reflections may indeed cause temporary local "holes" in a single frame, they are rapidly "sealed" in successive video frames, providing a complete "free of holes" stitched 3D model.

Furthermore, our signal is much more robust than in other systems in the market! It was designed in order to allow operation in non-supervised environments as well as to capture hard to acquire materials.

What kind of partners are you looking for?

As described in the "partners" page, we see ourselves as a force that can create value to the industry in many ways.
The 3D market is far from maximizing its potential and the eco system is moving in the right direction but it will take time until this market matures fully.

Our natural partners are companies that are looking to create/increase business performance in the 3D imaging industry.
We are currently in discussions with:
1. Complementary technology enablers
2. Manufacturers
3. Designers and Integrators
4. Distributors and service providers
5. Application developers

For us, a good partnership is long term and only strengthens over time!
